From Donegal to Cork, we will take you through the essential landmarks on the Wild Atlantic Way, as well as some of Irelands best kept secrets, which you wont find on any other tour. The tour includes 10 nights in Irelands finest hotels, daily excursions to cultural and historical landmarks, workshop tours of Irish instrument makers and nightly traditional music guaranteed with top musicians who will travel with you throughout the trip. Day 1 – Meet in Dublin. Depart for Donegal, Welcome drink in The Ceílí House Bar, Ardara. Evening traditional music. Stay in Nesbitt Arms Hotel
Day 2 – Visit Glenveigh National Park and Aranmore Island. Evening session in The Ceílí House Bar. Stay in the Nesbitt Arms Hotel
Day 3 – Ardara to Westport. Visit the Michael Coleman Music Centre Gurteen, Co. Sligo. Evening music in the world renowned Matt Molloy’s Pub in Westport. Stay in the Wyatt Hotel.
Day 4 – Westport to Clifden. Explore the beautiful Westport House. Stop off in Cong to view the set of the classic movie ‘The Quiet Man’. Evening traditional music in Clifden Co. Galway. Stay in the Abbeyglen Castle Hotel.
Day 5 – Clifden to Galway City. Visit Malachy Kearns, Bodhrán maker in his workshop and craft shop. Evening music in the famous Tig Coílí in Galway City. Stay in the Eyre Square Hotel.
Day 6 – Explore Galway City, its shops, restaurants and culture. Evening music in Tig Coílí. Stay in the Eyre Square Hotel.
Day 7 – Galway to Killarney. Visit Tom Cussen, Banjo Maker in Clarinbridge. Tour the beautiful Bunratty Castle. Evening Traditional music and accommodation in the Holiday Inn, Killarney.
Day 8 – Explore Killarney. Enjoy Ross Castle, Killarney National Park and Muckross Abbey. Spend time in Killarney town for great shopping and culture. Stay at the Holiday Inn.
Day 9 – Killarney to Kilkenny. Depart Killarney and visit Mitchelstown Caves. Arrive in Kilkenny. Evening music in the Dylan Whisky Bar. Stay in the Pembrooke Hotel.
Day 10 – Explore Kilkenny. See the Kilkenny Castle, Rothe House, Butler Gallery and the Smithwicks Experience. Check out Kilkenny’s vibrant city centre. Final Traditional Music Session of the tour. Stay at the Pembrooke Hotel.
